Duties of the President
|
- Shall preside at all meetings of the council
- Shall appoint council members to task groups as needed
- Represent the SOTA at SVSU in matters relating to the association
- Shall prepare the agenda, reports, and other pertinent materials for the association
- Shall book rooms for the council meetings at least two weeks prior to meeting
- Shall call for reports from the committee chairs and task groups for presentation to the council for approval or recommendation of action
- May attend other association meetings in the absence of designated SA liaisons
- Shall be responsible to transfer all records to the newly appointed President via comprehensive binder
